easter baskets

I am truly baffled that it is almost Easter. In what has felt like the longest year ever, I’m also mystified at how we are here already. Easter is four weeks away which means if you order any of these this weekend you’ll have plenty of time for them to arrive, unbox them, and then hide them somewhere where you’ll surely forget and then panic try to find the evening of April 3rd. …or is that just me? Take a look at this year’s Easter picks. And check out last year’s if you need a few additional ideas.

.) My First Bible Playbook - The sweetest quilted book that tells stories from the Bible. I love these for car or plane trips because all of the pieces are tied to the book so there’s no pieces falling on the ground. Makes a wonderful baptism gift as well. $32

.) Personalized Ceramic Eggs - I started ordering these for my kids last year and love how they look displayed. She has an egg for just about every sport and hobby so you can find one that really encapsulates their year (she even has one with a face mask!) I ordered the ballerina for Sis and the Scooter for Deacon, but also love this cute sibling one. $28

.) Embroidered Bow - I adore the look of these personalized bows! I ordered the small for Emilia and hoping we an make it work when her hair grows a little more. Comes in pink or white. They also have this style that Velcros on on to easter baskets. $32

.) Polarized Sunglasses - I saw these in store and the quality is SO good. I feel like so many little boys sunglasses look cheap or novelty. He’s five and needs legit sunglasses what will protect his eyes. These are it. Also come in orange, blue, and tortoise. $17

.) Flower Sunglasses - THESE! How cute are these? Emilia loves an accessory (we’ve already lost all but one pair from this flower set she got for Valentine’s Day), but hoping we can make these darling daisy glasses stick around a bit longer. Also love this fun flower set. Would make a cute party favor too! $10

.) Rainbow Kite - We got WAY in to kites last spring (perhaps because it was one of the fun few things we could safely do?), but sadly our kite didn’t make it through the season. I ordered this one for Deacon’s Easter basket this year. After reading, this triangle style with the longer tail is a little easier to fly. And you can never go wrong with adding a rainbow to the sky. $13

.) Dear Boy / Dear Girl Books - I just learned about these books from a few friends recently and immediately ordered them for my kiddos. They tell sweet stories that reiterate to your children that they are smart, strong, kind, and special. I cried when I read them which is how you know they’re good. $9

.) Hooded Towel Poncho - Ok y’all these are cute! They work for ages 2 - 6 and solve the problem of the kid keeping the towel on after the bath, pool, beach, whatever. No longer do you have to carry a towel AND a cover up for them - this is both! Thinking it’d be pretty darn cute with a monogram on it too. Comes in nine colors!

.) Disney Princess Set - Ok these are a little creepy looking, but a friend has these and Emilia loves them! Their dresses clip on and there’s something about changing them and snapping them on and off that makes her love it. Would be a good one to keep in a bag and take out at restaurants. $15

.) Goggles - These are our favorite goggles from last summer. The strap is super easy to adjust and the lenses are anti-fog. And something about their shape just does a really great job of keeping them in place and leak-free. Set of two (and you know you’ll need two b/c hello lost and found) for $12

.) Toddler Goggles- Y’all I cannot with these goggles. The lenses flip up like those flip up sunglasses, but they’re also goggles! So adorable and the perfect little pop in your little’s Easter Basket.

.) Lego Storage Case - We, I’m afraid, have entered the Lego phase. And they’re everywhere. Our situation is only more complicated by the fact that he likes to build them both at home and at his grandma’s house which means we need a way to carry the creations back and forth. This case looks like it should do the trick. A drawer big enough to store creations without entirely disassembling them, and a top upon which to build. Plus a cute carrying case. $20

.) Chick & Egg Chalk - A fresh set of side walk chalk is almost always in my kids’ baskets. No better way to start spring than with fresh sticks of chalk to leave out in the grass and get sprayed on by the sprinklers and then rolled on clothes, right?! Good thing these are only $3

.) Water Balloons - My kids would seriously go through a bag of these a day if I let them. If you’ve never used them, you can fill up a whole ‘bunch of balloons’ in a few minutes. It’s pretty cool. Huge hit! $9

.) Initial Hat - How darling are these? Choose from tons of colors and patterns (the gingham is so precious) and add their initial and even their name on the back. Comes in adult sizes too! $20
