I love any sort of year-end recap (If you’d like to watch a 12 minute video of our family’s 2021, click here. haha I couldn’t make it shorter! I just love too many of those moments!). I thought it would be fun to do a recap of what YOU all purchased the most via my affiliate links this year. It’s a neat way to gauge what you all like to see from me. Not coincidentally, they all have a direct relationship to things I wore/used the most last year. As always, I so appreciate you purchasing things you find from me via my links. I make a very small commission on them and it provides me the time to continue to do this gig. Ok here we go…
Top Sellers of 2021
Target Skort (sold out except in plus size) - This was the most purchased item by y’all in all of 2021. I’m glad to know we all embraced the skort this year. Active wear but make it cover my thighs and look cute. I wore the heck out of mine all year long. With this tank or this long sleeve shirt. (Here is a similar style that is in stock and under $25!)
Short Sleeve Dress (sold out) - No surprise here that this is one of my most worn items of the year AND one of the most purchased items by you. It was so easy breezy. I hope they come out with something similar this summer. In the meantime, this is a slightly longer version that fits that same bill for both comfort and function.
Tata Harper Mask Set - So many of you swarmed on this set when it was in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. It’s still a great buy at $76 (valued at $126). It comes with a full size of my very favorite mask - The Resurfacing Mask - which I use before photos or any big event. Gives your face that perfect polish! You also get three minimize masks - the hydrating, clarifying, and purifying - which I use for when I travel, but it’s also a great way to test out masks from this line. The resurfacing mask alone sells for $65, so for $11 bucks you get three additional masks!
AGolde Riley Jean - Probably my most-worn item I purchased in 2021! I’m happy so many of you found your way to these jeans. If you remember, mine came to me via being left in a dressing room I was using, in my exact size. It was jean fate and I’ve never looked back. I gave these to my sister for Christmas who is more petite than me and they look wonderful on her too! They’re pricey, but cost per wear on these for me more than makes up for it. (Size note: I size down one size in these)
Lap Desk - This was the top sold item for me from my Amazon links this year. With good reason - it’s freaking life changing. The desk props your lap top up to an ergonomic position whether on a desk or in your lap. It has a built-in mouse pad and two slots for holding a tablet and phone. My husband and I fight over ours nightly, so much so that I should probably just buy a second for us.
Portable Charger - The second most sold item from my Amazon links this year was this phone charger. Between this and the lap desk you can really see what a lazy tech person I am. Working from the couch. Battery life always in the red. I’ve had several mobile charging bricks over the year, but this is a fav because all the cords are attached! You don’t have to keep track of anything except this one brick. The plug pops out and it has different cords for different type of devices (for me, my iPhone and computer both work on it.) When it’s fully charged it can recharge my phone three times before I need to plug it into the wall. A must have IMO!
Kid-Safe Knives - My kids use these daily, often multiple times a day. The knives teach kids the proper force and cutting motions without being harmful. Their sharp enough to cut hard vegetables like carrots, but safe enough to not cut a finger. For less than $10, this is a great buy and makes a great gift! Getting my kids involved in the kitchen help them explore new foods and provides a fun hobby that we all enjoy.
Card Case - This $10 slim wallet/card case was a best seller for the year which is a huge feat considering I didn’t even share it until December 16th! TONS of you purchased this and agree with me that it has all the right things - place for cards, place for coins, place for license, can clip onto key chain, AND it fits a vaccine card. Tons and tons of colors (I have the “smooth tan leather”).
Faux Garland - You all went NUTS for this garland I used on my banister (photo here). It’s a great price and looks SO realistic the way it drapes. Sold out now, but this was the second year they’ve had this exact style so bookmark or pin it now and check back next holiday season.
AGolde Long Jean Shorts - AGolde/Shopbop really got a lot of our money this year huh? For good reason though because these are the only jean shorts I have ever liked on my body…ever. They’re an appropriate length for a 36 year old mom, they’re comfortable, I can sit down and stand up in them without feeling like I’m going to pop a button or flash someone. Love the wash color too! And love that Shopbop carries them because they have super fast shipping and free returns!
Barefoot Dreams Throw - Since we’re all besties, I know you know about the comfort and softness that is Barefoot Dreams. But this year you all loved finding Barefoot Dreams Throws at Nordstrom Rack for almost half the price! They are a little thinner in weight which I prefer and are the perfect blanket for snuggling and/or covering your sofa in to avoid kid/dog messes.
Zella Joggers - I’m starting to wonder if I have more sales on these items because I wear them the most and therefor post about them more frequently? Either way these are both a top seller for you and and a top wear for me for 2021. I wear these weekly and love how they feel like sweats, but look a little more pulled together for wearing outside of my house. Come in black, navy, and gray. I pair with an athletic top and sneakers or a striped tee and golden goose. A must-have for me for 2021! On sale right now too!
