2022 gift guides: FOR HER

Hi friends! The pumpkins are composting, the stick-on plastic bats are back in their bins til next Halloween. It is officially Christmas in my home (yeah yeah Thanksgiving blah blah - we won’t be here so I’m not decorating for it).

This all means one big thing for you TRR fans - gift guide time! I started gift guides on TRR 1.0 back in 2011 and they were always a hit. Today I’m starting with gifts for all the ladies in your life - everyone from friends to sisters to moms and mother in laws, hostesses, secret Santas, you name it. There is truly something for every woman in your life.

I had SO many items for this guide that I broke it down into a few categories. Exact items are linked above, and similar items for each category are listed below - just click to shop! I hope you find this a helpful resource this season!

Note, most of these are affiliate links and I make a small (like very small) commission if you purchase after clicking. These guides take me quite a long time to source, create, and write. I appreciate you shopping with me!

FOR THE LUXE LOVER

We all have those people who enjoy the finer things in life (who doesn’t!). Consider this section to be a good starting place for the “girl who already has everything”.

ROBE / DIAMOND HUGGIES (more affordable version here) / GUCCI BAG / FANCY CANDLE / RING (more affordable version here) / MONOGRAMMED TOWELS / BLOWN GLASS VASE (more affordable option here)

LAKE ROBE: I just received this robe and holy cozy it is perfect. Super soft, a heavier weight (but not hot) for winter. I got it in this pretty blush color, but it also comes in blue and green. A great gift for a grandparent or new mom.

DIAMOND HUGGIES: Diamond stud earrings are risky in my mind. They are super prone to falling out and getting lost. Enter the huggie style. They stay closed and give the prefect pop of brightness to your face. These are pricey, but will be worn forever! As a December birthday person, it is nice that I can join both gift opportunities for one big gift item. Here’s a more affordable option too!

FANCY CANDLE: I love me a Nest Holiday Candle, but if I really want to give a luxe candle, I always go for Diptyque. They are so special and I’m loving the new colored glass. This scent smells like an open fire and will be sure to make their home feel and smell festive all winter long.

GUCCI BAG: I am coveting a white bag this season - I am wearing my white boots in the winter and I like the idea of a white bag to go with them. This beautiful white quilted bag will work all seasons! Also available in brown and black here. Again, a very luxe gift - here’s a similar, more affordable option.

MONOGRAMMED TOWELS: I finally bit the bullet and ordered some Weezie Towels and I’m so happy I did! I LOVE this style with the green piping and fun monogram, but they have just about every color and monogram style to choose from. Nice linens and towels are always something I appreciate, but rarely purchase for myself. A great gift idea for someone for whom it is difficult to buy.

BLOWN GLASS VASE: Both my mom and my Aunt Kathy always have the most delicate, beautiful little trinkets and treasures dotting their tables and bookshelves. I adore this little green vase (also comes in blue here). It’s pretty as is or with a single bloom in it. Here’s another cute vase option that is a bit more affordable.

BAGUETTE STYLE ETERNITY BAND: Number one on my list this year is an eternity ring to wear on my right hand. I love this yellow stone style and it also comes in sapphire and pink. A more affordable option is linked here.

FOR THE BEAUTY JUNKIE

Got a gal in your life who is beauty obsessed? These super-extra beauty gifts will be sure to earn a smile when she opens them.

Beautycounter Mask Set: This set features two of my very favorite face masks - the charcoal mask which draws oil out of pores and detoxes skin. And the Reflect Effect AHA Mask which polishes skin with alpha hydroxy acids for a smooth, glow finish. AND it comes with the facial tool which helps with application and exfoliation.

Dr. Dennis Gross LED Mask Set: True beauty gurus know, the LED face mask is all the rave. This FaceWare Pro mask is a rechargeable mask that uses both red and blue light to kill bacteria, smooth wrinkles, and diminish fine lines. This set also comes with a full-size moisturizer, a full-size retinol formula, plus five treatments of Alpha BetaExtra Strength Daily Peel for visibly brighter, smoother skin. Spa-worthy skin care at home!

Mason Pearson Hairbrush: The best hairbrush of all time for years and years. These last for ever (I’ve even heard of people passing them down generationally). I did some research as to which one is the best, and I think this size and style is probably the most universal. One of those gifts I’ve always wanted, but wouldn’t buy for myself.

Westman Atelier Set: A phenomal set from cult-favorite Westman Atelier. Set includes Super Loaded Tinted Highlight for cheeks and eyes, Baby Cheeks Blush Stick in Petal, and Lit Up Highlight Stick (my fav of the three!).

FOR THE ENTERTAINER

For the cook and home decor expert, this guide has something for so many people on your list, most notably moms and mother-in-laws. Probably my favorite category of gifts to both give and receive!

White Dutch Oven: On my list this year is this large cream Le Creuset Dutch Oven. I have a smaller one, but really need the next size up for when I braise larger cuts of meat or make soups and chilis. This style is so stunning, it is definitely worthy of being left out on the stove even when it’s not in use!

Colored Glass Coups: I gasped when I saw the price on these colored glass coups. I love a coup for Champagne or cocktails and these look like Estelle but or about 1/4 the price! Get a bunch for a party or one set to add a pop of fun to a china cabinet.

Spotted Fruit Bowl & Serve-ware: I am full-on OBSESSED with this line of speckled dishes. I think they are just so fun! I think a footed bowl like this make such a good gift - on a bookshelf with matches or decorative balls or on a countertop with fruit. So versatile! Tons of colors too. I also love this serving bowl, and this platter.

Battery Operated Table Lamp: These lamps are all the rage right now when it comes to table settings. I love them on both an indoor and outdoor table. They’re cordless and chargeable. They’re just so cute. I love the green color, but they come in just about every color under the sun. And don’t miss the knockoff version on amazon!

Burl Wood Picture Frame: New family photos or school pictures? The easiest gift is photo in a beautiful frame. Burl wood has been a favorite of mine for years and these frames are perfection. Larger sizes are great for wall mounted photos, or the smaller ones for a console or bedside table. I also love this fun blue frame.

Noori Steam Iron: I have collected a decent amount of table linens over the past few years (Fenwick Fields are my favorite!) and nothing is worse than setting the table and realizing you have a few napkins that need pressing. The Noori Steam Iron is like a flat iron for fabric! I also use it to touch up my clothes and bedding. If you have a consulate-hostess on your list, this is a must-have item for her!

FOR YOUR SPORTY PEEPS

I use the word “sporty” here loosely. The below category works for really anyone, but they’re all a little athletic leaning. Good options for teens or tweens in this round up too.

PICKLE BALL PADDLE: We have been bit by the Pickle Ball bug and are full-on obsessed. I want some cute paddles and this brand seems to be the best in terms of quality and designs. They have sets so you can hook someone up with all the essentials to get started playing this super fun game!

BALA WEIGHT BANGLES: I no joke wear my weighted bands pretty much all the time. They make tidying the house or unpacking backpacks feel dual-purpose. They’re also great to put on for an actual walk or workout. These new solid color ones are so chic too.

MONOGRAMMED NOTEPAD: Ok these have very little to do with sports, but every gal needs to write lists, right? I love everything Joy Creative Shop does and these monogrammed note pads make wonderful gifts for girlfriends, teachers, etc. Use code ROSE10 for 10% off everything.

LEGGINGS: I’ve been dying to try this brand of leggings for awhile after hearing how comfortable and functional they are. They have a bunch of fun colors too. Pair with a matching bra or sweatshirt and you’ve got one heck of a gift!

SHORT RAIN BOOTS: I’m a new convert to the shorter, Chelsea style rain boots because they are easy to throw on with my wider leg pants. I adore these cute mint and pink hunter styles, but they come in several colors too. So great for snow and rain!

WHITE HOKA SNEAKERS: I’m due for a new pair of athletic shoes and have several family members who swear by the Hoka Brand for comfort and support. I love this all white style.
